MedicScan OCR with Scanshell 2000R is a friendly scanning system for that enables to scan insurance cards and general A4 scanning purposes. MedicScan OCR quickly and accurately scan insurance cards and captures their image and text from both sides of the insurance card (scanning the card twice) as well as all other media. The extracted images and text can be inserted into patient's data sheets, saved to a file, or exported to any other application, as well as emailed and sent to an FTP or web address.
In addition to medical insurance cards, MedicScan with Scanshell 2000R offers high quality Legal/A4 image capture at 600 DPI, providing unique scanning convenience for both desktop and mobile use.

MedicScan comes complete with Scanshell 2000R - a twain compatible A4 color scanner that is able to scan insurance cards with a resolution of 600 dpi. The scanner, which has a small footprint, is attached to the computer's USB port, thus requiring no external power supply. It is bundled with extra software that offers great value at no extra charge, including DocShell for easy scanning, sharing and organizing of photos and documents.
