MedicScan comes complete with Scanshell 3000D - a twain compatible duplex color scanner (scans from both sides simultaneously) that is able to read insurance cards and scan them with a resolution of 600 dpi. The scanner, which has a very small footprint, is attached to the computer's USB port, thus requiring no external power supply.
