MedicScan OCR is a friendly scanning system for medical insurance cards, which automates the archiving process of medical insurance cards. It effectively eliminates the time and efforts of manually typing insurance cards' information and scanning images into your software, increasing productivity and reducing human error.

MedicScan quickly and accurately captures the text and images of medical insurance cards from both sides of the card (scanning the card twice). The extracted text and images can be inserted into patient's data sheets, saved to a file, or exported to any other application, as well as emailed and sent to an FTP or web address.

MedicScan comes complete with Scanshell 800R - a twain compatible A6 color scanner with a resolution of 600 dpi. The scanner, which has a very small footprint, is attached to the computer's USB port, thus requiring no external power supply.
