MedicScan PRO quickly and accurately captures the images of medical insurance cards from both sides of the card (scanning insurance cards twice), and provides you with the card images, which can be easily inserted into the database. The images stored in the database can be sorted, retrieved according to various search criteria, printed in various formats, and easily and automatically exported to any other application, email and FTP. MedicScan PRO comes complete with Scanshell 800NR - a twain compatible A6 color scanner with a resolution up to 600 dpi. The scanner, which has a very small footprint, is attached to the computer's USB port, thus requiring no external power supply.
